This is my own recipe.
Ingredients for one large chalk:
- 20g of fresh yeast
- 150ml of milk (optionally further 50ml milk, depending on the size of the egg and flour)
- 50g caster sugar
- package of vanilla sugar (16g)
- pinch of salt
- 500g flour
- 1 large egg
- 60g butter
In addition to grease:
- 1 like + teaspoon of milk
For mixing bowl sift the flour, make a hole in it and pour the crushed yeast. With sugar and pour half the hot milk. Overwhelm a small amount of flour so, in order to create mass with the consistency of thick cream. Allow to stand for 20 minutes. When the solution gets older add the remaining ingredients: beaten egg, melted butter and warm milk, and to frame smooth and elastic dough. The dough should not stick. If necessary, add a little flour. Shape into a ball, cover with a cloth and leave to rise at room temperature. When the dough doubles, Remove the pastry board and degas. Divide the 4 equal parts. With each roll and then do a tail braid. Prepared chalk translate into lamina lined with baking paper or put in a mold. Cover with a cloth and allow to stand for 40 minutes until puffed up.
