I do not know anyone, Who would not like fresh, still warm bread for breakfast. I know, it is not always on time, but on the weekend we can afford a little luxury. So I prepared for you a recipe for the perfect croissant. Perfect for a lazy breakfast. Fragrant, with a crispy crust, sprinkled with poppy seeds. Their only disadvantage is, that disappear too quickly! It gets straight, although until recently I was unaware of, as it should be rolled croissants, to have such a beautiful appearance and so many turns, that we can develop eating – I do like :). Ingredients 8 large croissants:
- 200g of wheat flour bread
- 300g of wheat flour
- teaspoon of sugar
- 15g of fresh yeast (must be added dry half the)
- 1,5 teaspoon salt
- tablespoon oil
- 150ml of milk
- 100 – 150ml of water (depending on flour, pour water gradually until the right consistency of dough)
- poppy seeds for sprinkling
For mixing bowl sift the flour, make a hole in it, Pour the crushed yeast, sugar and pour over warm (not hot!) milk. Overwhelm a small amount of flour so, in order to create consistency of thick cream (how to make yeast immediately in a bowl). Let stand covered for 20m minutes until the solution grows. After this, time to add all the other ingredients and knead a smooth dough. Let stand covered at room temperature, to double in volume (about 1,5 hours). When the dough doubles in volume, remove it from the bowl and knead briefly – in order to get rid of air bubbles. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. With each piece to form a ball and then roll it fairly thin on the oval, rolling out only in one way (top- bottom, nie na boki). After rounding, collapse from the top, with the other hand at the same time a little stretching the dough, turns to be the most. Shape into a crescent. Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Let stand for about 20 minutes to the pretty pompous. Before baking croissants spread with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake at 220 ° C for 15-20 minutes, to a nice golden brown in. Remove from the oven, cool on a wire rack.
