Marzipan Wreath

by

in recipes for: ,

Occurred to me a huge craving for something yeast. The cabinets in default marzipan, that for some time he asked to use. Well, what could I do?… I used. And how delicious:) Cake is done fairly quickly, smells beautifully, and it tastes even better. In order to convince, we have to try:) I recommend a very!

The recipe comes from the book "Baking cakes', the only thing that changed, This form of cakes – I made a wreath instead of a tail.

Wieniec marcepanowy | Marzipan wreath

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 25g of yeast
  • 250ml of warm milk
  • 80g melted butter
  • 50g of sugar
  • pinch of salt

Sift flour, make a hole in it, Pour the crushed yeast, Pour half of the milk and pour a small amount of flour so, in order to create consistency of thick cream (picture of what's going on). Allow to stand for 10 – 15 minutes. When the yeast will begin to add melted butter, salt, sugar, remaining milk and knead a smooth dough. Let stand covered for 30 minutes. Meanwhile prepare marzipan mass.

Weight Marzipan:

  • 200g of marzipan
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 150g peeled and ground almonds
  • 30ml rumu

Marzipan grate proteins, sugar, rum and chopped almonds. Ready to roll out the dough into a rectangle about the size of 40x50cm. Coat the surface of the ground, and roll the roulade, along the shorter side. Roulade slice in half lengthwise, not leaving one end of the slit to the end. Turn tail and form a circle. ( You can leave a simple braid, as it was in the recipe). Lay a wreath on a baking tray lined with baking paper and covered the ostawić 25 minutes.

Bake at 220 ° C for about 35 – 40 minutes. After approximately 15 I suggest to check minutes, the crown is not too much scorching and, if necessary cover with aluminum foil. Remove from the oven, cool slightly. Still warm polukrować.

This provision is not correct. What to do with the rest of the milk? and the beginning of flour – how to get the creamy consistency of 500g flour and 25g of yeast and 125ml milk?

thank you, I know for the future 🙂
Cake already done, last 10 min and August will be hell… already can not wait. Folding contrary to appearances, it was quite difficult… I added the weight of candied fruit marzipan, turkish delight and almond flakes, so as to add a little color. Thank you for an interesting recipe and for your prompt response… I greet!
