Ingredients:

  • 250g butter, softened
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar (16g)
  • 4 eggs
  • 250g ground hazelnuts
  • 250g flour
  • 3 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 a glass of dark rum

The form of cakes with a length of 30 cm grease and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Whip the butter and sugars on the bright and fluffy, add one egg mixing thoroughly after each. Then add the ground nuts and mix. Sift flour with baking powder and gradually add to the weight. Finally, add rum and mix thoroughly.

Ready to translate into the prepared cake mold. Bake at 175 ° C for 1 hour and 10 minutes. My cake was ready after an hour. Remove from the oven, cool in the form and then cool on a wire rack until the end. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I baked yesterday : I added walnuts (because that just had to hand) and less than a teaspoon of gingerbread spice (that was more festive flavor)
came out delicious, Today was just a tiny piece of the morning coffee
