Recipe from My Pastries.
The dough cooked for about 20 – 25 donuts:
- 20 Maki dag
- 10 Dag masła
- 4 eggs
- pinch of salt
- glass of water
Boil a cup of water with butter and a pinch of salt. Briskly boiling water Pour flour in stirring. Reduce gas and pound the dough until smooth and shiny and will stand out from the walls of the pot. - 3 tablespoons boiling Water

The dough is rather compact. A wet can come from too little heated oil. Then too absorb the fat and are unpalatable.

If too absorbed fat, I suspect, that the oil was not heated sufficiently strongly. Then you need to bake longer, and hence are more greasy.
You can add alcohol to not soaked with grease???
