Another my proposal on Shrove Tuesday are donuts with a hole, called donatami. Are slightly different from our, less fluffy, more compact and concise. And what is important, do not absorb fat. Tasty, but I prefer our traditional donuts. I ate one and only time such a real donata, So to be honest, I find it difficult to assess the, or those made by me are the same I am the original. It's definitely worth it to do, if only, to find out, We prefer the donuts. And that's where the joy in their decorating! I recommend, because it is worth to explore new flavors.
The recipe comes from the book "Baking cakes'.
Ingredients for approximately 20 pieces (I did from the mid-portion):
- 500g flour
- 30g of yeast
- 80g of sugar
- 1/4 liter of milk
- 50g butter
- 3 eggs
- 50g of marzipan
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Additionally:
- Any sprinkles
- powdered sugar
- oil for frying
Sift flour into a bowl, make a hole in it, Pour crushed yeast, Pour a tablespoon of sugar and warm milk. Mix with a little flour so, in order to create consistency of thick cream. Allow the solution to 15 – 20 minutes to podrośnięcia. Melt the butter and sugar until light of other, eggs and marzipan mass and fluffy. Podrośniętego grout to add the remaining ingredients and mix to a smooth dough. Cover the kneaded dough and leave to rise at room temperature. The dough should double in volume. After this time, remove the dough, short to form and roll out to a thickness of about 1cm. Cut glass rings. The tip of a wooden spoon to make the center of each circle holes (I did it a little cap from the bottle). Again, allow to stand for 20 minutes, covered, to rise. In large saucepan, heat the oil to 175 ° C. Put donuts so, to swim freely, fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove the paper towel.
With powdered sugar and hot water until light and thick icing, lightly dip it cooled down Doughnuts, then decorate with colored posypkami.

Marzipan has to be very soft and well beaten.
