Delicious scones, in fact it's so easy rolls with a crispy crust, sprinkled with salt and caraway seeds. I will always be associated with studies, when the break between lectures, kupowałyśmy brine in a local store, and eat with friends dipping with some natural yogurt, drink kefir. These tasted to me the most:) If they had never eaten, necessarily have to do, because they are really delicious. And if you eat, Do it all the more:). This will be your return to the past. I recommend a very!

Solanki / Salty twirls

Ingredients 16 pieces:

  • 500g of wheat flour bread (If you do not have, you can do with the ordinary)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 yolk
  • 1 glass (250 ml) lukewarm milk half and half with water
  • 15g of fresh yeast (if dry - 1 flat spoon)

For lubrication before rolling:

  • 1 tablespoon oil

For greasing before baking:

  • 1 egg white
  • sea salt
  • optional caraway seeds

Sift flour into a bowl, make a hole, Pour the crushed yeast and pour half the hot milk. Overwhelm a small amount of flour so, in order to create consistency of thick cream. Allow to stand for 15 minutes. When the solution begins to foam add the remaining milk and remaining ingredients. Knead smooth and elastic dough. Let stand covered at room temperature until double in volume. After this time, remove the dough on pastry board, briefly again to form, divided into two parts. Roll out each part of the cake with a thickness of about. 0,5cm and a diameter of 26cm. Then each of the pies divided into eight triangles. Each triangle spread with oil and roll like a croissant, but do not bend the bow, just leave a simple. Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper, allow to stand covered for 20 minutes until puffed up. Before baking, spread with a egg white and sprinkle coarse salt and caraway seeds (I do not like cumin, So in my version of poppy).

Bake at 220 ° C for 15 – 20 minutes (until golden brown). Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
