When I bake it so chalk, like retreat with time. Because chalk reminds me of childhood, family home, Heat… A thick slice of buttered with butter and sprinkled with sugar and preferably a cup of warm milk or cocoa. These are my memories… Now I bake chalk itself and try to, to have such warm memories of my child… I recommend you very much this chalk, because it is simple to make and very, very tasty! Very soft, fluffy and butter…

This is my own recipe.

Chałka z kruszonką

Ingredients for one large chalk:

  • 20g of fresh yeast
  • 150ml of milk (optionally further 50ml milk, depending on the size of the egg and flour)
  • 50g caster sugar
  • package of vanilla sugar (16g)
  • pinch of salt
  • 500g flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 60g butter

In addition to grease:

  • 1 like + teaspoon of milk

For mixing bowl sift the flour, make a hole in it and pour the crushed yeast. With sugar and pour half the hot milk. Overwhelm a small amount of flour so, in order to create mass with the consistency of thick cream. Allow to stand for 20 minutes. When the solution gets older add the remaining ingredients: beaten egg, melted butter and warm milk, and to frame smooth and elastic dough. The dough should not stick. If necessary, add a little flour. Shape into a ball, cover with a cloth and leave to rise at room temperature. When the dough doubles, Remove the pastry board and degas. Divide the 4 equal parts. With each roll and then do a tail braid. Prepared chalk translate into lamina lined with baking paper or put in a mold. Cover with a cloth and allow to stand for 40 minutes until puffed up. After this time, spread beaten egg with milk and sprinkle with bread crumbs.

Crumble:

  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

All the ingredients for crumble between your fingers to form.

Bake at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Cut after complete cooling,.

Very good chałeczka 🙂 The next time reduce the amount of sugar that you can eat it with jam, because this is ideal for even the oleos and is pychota 🙂

Chalk this hell and came out really delicious !!!
Once again I was not disappointed on your recipe 😉 From now on it will be my permanent recipe, I do not hide, that my first encounter with chalk with some cheesy rule ended in total failure! ;P
And instead of one large egg gave 2 small….so taste, fluffiness and I was delighted with the appearance of ! ;))
