Autumn is the time, when you have a special mood for apple pie. At least I have :). Odor, what goes out of the house, the pie is baked, This is one of my favorite. I think I like it just for autumn. Tatra pie has long been entangled me on the head and in the end I decided to do it. Very short pastry (for me a little too thick sheeted) and a whole bunch of delicious apples. It's like the most – the apple is so much. This apple pie from now on is my favorite, after traditional apple pie:). I invite you for refreshments and encourage you to try the recipe. Ingredients for pastry:
- 1/2 kg krupczatki
- 250g butter or margarine
- 1/2 glass of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder (with me without, As usual I forgot)
- 2 yolk
- 2 tablespoons cream
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl, add the chopped butter and knead quickly shortcake. Of course you can knead by hand, remembering, not to heat the dough too much hands. Prepared dough into two parts in the proportions 2/3 and 1/3.
Plaque measuring 25×30 cm parchment paper for baking, put on the bottom of the greater part of the dough. Cool in the refrigerator about. 1 hour. Before lining apples can bake a cake (10-15 minutes at 190 ° C).
- ca. 2,5 – 3kg of apples (will be best russet, Antonówka)
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- a few tablespoons of sugar (to taste, depending on the sweetness of apples)
Peel the apples, Cut into quarters and cut out the seeds. Cut into thin slices – preferably with a razor. Stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
At the bottom of the cooled put sliced apples. Top wipe the rest of the dough.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 1 hour. After this time, remove the, cool. Before serving sprinkle with powdered sugar.
