Today, the provision of a series of fast, easy and tasty. It went with me apple pie, but I had no time for it. These muffins have long had an eye and now we come upon the perfect moment, to try them out. They are delicious. From the top of the pastry, stuffed in the middle of apple sauce. It's a mini version of apple pie. Sincerely recommend!
The recipe comes from the book "Baking cakes”.
Ingredients 8 molds with a diameter of 6cm (I immediately did a double portion of):
- 130g sifted flour
- 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 60g of icing sugar
- 1 1 egg
For these components to knead dough, form into a ball, Wrap in cling film and leave in the fridge for about 1 hour.
- about 1,5 cup applesauce (I used the finished mousse with peaches)
- 2 tablespoons toasted almonds
Mix apple sauce with almonds.
8 Grease muffin cups with butter corrugated. Turn out cake tins, leaving 1/3. Each mold filled with apple sauce. Roll out remaining dough to a thickness of about 3mm and cut out the blank mold 8 tops. The edges of the dough spread with cold water. Rings of dough put on a well-filled cups and press.
Bake at 180 ° C for 25 – 30minutes. Cool in cups. Serve sprinkled with icing sugar.
