When I saw this recipe, at first I'm not impressed, but even so I decided to try, due to the appearance of the cookies. Cool, very large spirals like croissants. Proved to be very simple to do. The delicious taste. The recipe comes from the book Hilaire Walden 'Biscuits, cookies and muffins'. I recommend, because they are amazing!Serowe spiralki

Ingredients 32 Spiral:

  • 220 g butter
  • 220 g of creamy cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 225g of wheat flour

For the filling:

  • 120g walnuts or pecans, finely chopped (I used Italian, ground them in a blender)
  • 75g of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (I gave almost spoon, bo lubię)

The glaze:

  • 1 egg beaten with a tablespoon of water (I used milk)
  • coarse sugar for sprinkling

Combine all dough ingredients with a mixer, at the end by adding the flour. Formed and become a ball, divide it into two parts, flatten each, wrap in foil and let stand for one hour in the refrigerator.

In the meantime prepare the filling - Mix all ingredients together.
