Chocolate meringue cake with lemon cream

When you are baking a protein, and do not really know what to do with them, I suggest this delicious dessert. Delicate, melt-in-your mouth chocolate meringue, which breaks the delicious sweetness of lemon cream with lemon curd. With each bite you will want more and more. Dessert is simple and fast in execution, what is the big advantage. But beware, just as quickly disappears… I recommend you very much!

Chocolate Meringue (components of the two tops):

  • 6 egg white
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of good cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar

Protein mass killings on a rigid, at the end of churning add the sugar in batches, mix thoroughly, then add the vinegar and mix. At the end add the sifted cocoa meringue and gently mix.

Two plates from the oven baking parchment paper, to both draw a circle of diameter 22cm. Meringue divided into two parts and place on plates.

Oven with hot air at 140 ° C for 1 hour, then turn off the oven. Leave the meringues in the oven ajar to cool completely. This is best done early in the day and leave the meringue in the oven overnight.

Lemon curd:

  • 500g mascarpone (I use Piątnicy)
  • 350ml chilled whipping cream
  • 250g lemon curd (put one tablespoon for decoration)
  • 50g of icing sugar

All components of the cream in a bowl put the mixer and beat together and fluffy. Lemon cream is strongly, If you do not like the taste so strong, add lemon curd to be gradually.

Lemon curd can be bought ready-made or make yourself. I recommend this, who had already done, by the way cheesecake with poppy seeds.

Lemon curd:

  • abraded skin and juice squeezed 3 cytryn
  • 75g butter
  • 250g of sugar
  • 3 large eggs

The heat-resistant bowl placed over a pair of warm sugar, butter, zest and juice of lemons. Mix, until sugar is dissolved and the whole will be warm. Eggs exactly fluff and add to the warm ground. Heat, stirring constantly until, until the mixture begins to stick to the spoon. It is a sign, the eggs thickened. Be very careful, heat not to place undue weight, because the eggs may be cut. Ready to leave the cream to cool completely.

Baked meringue top place on paterze, put the cream and gently align. Cover with a second off-white worktop, decorate the top of the rest of the lemon curd. Serve immediately after taking.

This lemon foo, I will not buy it. With proven poppy seed cheesecake at home edition. But if you will not go too much? Cheesecake flooded all, quite thick, to your, the picture meringue is only “pochlapana”.
