Long you had to wait for me… Longed although little? 🙂 I hope you do not have to leave for such a long time. I missed blogging, but on the other hand, I could not find the strength, in order to take this again. Apparently it was meant to be.
But this day I come to you with a delicious proposition, which you can use for the upcoming Mardi Gras. Precelki, I prepared for you that are very tasty, very soft and fragrant. The hand itself goes back to the next and the next… And that gets them hastily, you do not have to wait long to mature out the dough. Even after an hour, you can enjoy their taste. And this is their undoubted advantage. I recommend you very much!

Ingredients 20 small pretzels:

  • 500g of wheat flour
  • 25g of fresh yeast (must be added dry half the)
  • 50g of sugar
  • 250ml of milk
  • 100g lard
  • 1 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • skin wiped with 1/2 lemons (you can skip)
  • a pinch of ground allspice and ginger

Additionally:

  • oil for frying
  • powder sugar for sprinkling

Sift flour into a bowl, make a hole in it, Pour into it crumbled yeast and a little sugar. Milk gently heated (can not be hot!) and pour the yeast. Overwhelm a small amount of flour so, to form a thick consistency. Let stand covered for 15 minutes until the yeast start to work.
Melt lard, add the remaining sugar, 1 egg, salt, lemon zest and spices. All together fluff. Add to podrośniętego Mortar and knead the dough smooth and shiny. The kneaded dough covered with a cloth and allow to stand for 15 minutes to rise. After this time, briefly knead the dough (to remove air bubbles) and divided into pieces weighing 50g. With each piece of molded shaft with a length of about. 40cm in diameter, and then from the shaft to form a pretzel. Ready pretzels put on a lightly floured pastry board. Cover with a cloth and leave to pompous (ca. 20 – 30 minutes).
In a broad heat the oil pan to a temperature of 175 ° C.*, put pretzels and fry until golden brown on both sides. Pull the pretzels on a paper towel. Hot sprinkle with powdered sugar.

* If you do not have a thermometer confectionery (as I), is to check whether the oil is heated enough to be thrown crust of bread. If at first blush it means to, that the oil is good for frying. To lower the oil temperature, Throw a piece of potato.
