I love the pastries. Completely unplanned, fast, simple and very, very tasty. As I lay my head for a long time, so much, that has always been pushed by other baked by the wayside. But as you can see, which is delayed… it still bake:) I found a recipe for croissants long, I can not remember where. I wrote it myself and hid. I did it so effectively, that I could not find it already… So I took advantage of the provision, which has long been smiling at me on the blog at Margarytki. Ingredients 32 croissants:

  • 500g of wheat flour
  • 200g butter
  • 30g of yeast
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 2 eggs

Additionally:

  • favorite jam, dżem lub nutella ( in my home with apricot jam and nutella)
  • egg for brushing
  • powder sugar for sprinkling

Heat the milk, add sugar and crushed yeast and good rub. Allow to stand for 10 minutes, until the yeast will work. Melt butter and cool. Sift flour into a bowl, add yogurt, eggs, cooled down butter and pour the dissolved yeast. Knead the dough soft and smooth. The dough form a ball, put into a large bag (Folic), tie and put into a bowl of very cold water. Let stand for about 20 minutes to rise (the dough should double in volume) – dough will rise to the surface, then it is ready. When dough out of the bag, divided into 4 of. Roll out each piece of the cake with a diameter of about 30cm. Divide the 8 triangles (in order to, how to slice a pizza). On the basis of each of the triangles put a teaspoon of jam. Roll croissants from the base to the summit.
Croissants put on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Allow to stand for 20 minutes to rise. Before baking, spread with beaten egg.

Bake in oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 15 – 20 minutes, to a nice golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Before serving, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Thank you for the recipe. I made croissants with poppy seed filling. I was in a hurry and my croissants didn't rest before baking, but despite this, they turned out delicious.

Excellent cake,virtually no posypywalam.Moj 6latek had a great time twisting croissants.

Fantastyczny przepis – łatwy w wykonaniu i zaskakujący – jak dotąd nie słyszałam o moczeniu ciasta drożdżowego w zimnej wodzie. I thought, że nie wyrosną, but they are as a picture and the delicious 🙂 plan to bake them often, a że nie zawierają dużo cukru, spróbuję także w wersji wytrawnej – np. ze szpinakiem i serem pleśniowym.

Super recipe! just pulled out of the oven croissants are delicious, very soft and melt in your mouth;) all the provisions of which I used has not failed me, everything always goes perfectly;)I would highly recommend!

Almost embarrassed to admit, but I've never done such croissants( skipping days when I baked them with Grandma, mainly because the disturbed and not baked;) And they look so fluffy and soft… I add to my list to do!:)
